This report is part of the Murrumbidgee Valley Water Efficiency Feasibility Project. CSIRO was commissioned to identify the potential to save water in the Valley and the full results of this study are contained in the main report Hydrologic Economic Ranking of Water Saving Options (Khan et al, 2004).

This summary represents a synthesis of the findings in the main report with occasional reference to a second Working Paper, Whole of Catchment Water and Salt Balance to Identify Potential Water Saving Options in the Murrumbidgee Catchment (Khan, 2004). The information in this report needs to be read in the context of the larger study but the main findings are summarised here.
