About us

This web site is hosted by the Australian Government.

It is managed by the Australian Government Natural Resource Management Team, composed of staff from the Department of the Environment, Water, Heritage and the Arts and the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry. We work in co-operation with State and Territory agencies, regional bodies, industry and community groups across Australia as well as line areas in both departments.

The web site provides information about an integrated, whole of government approach to natural resource management program delivery. The NAP is jointly funded and cooperatively implemented by the Australian, State and Territory Governments. The focus is on protecting our environment and natural resources, and sustaining our agricultural industries and regional communities.
